Andrea Anders

Anders is a native of Madison, Wisconsin. She was raised in DeForest and is now residing in Los Angeles. After graduating from DeForest Area High Schools in DeForest and Stevens Point University in 1997 with a Bachelor of Arts and a Bachelor of Science degree, she came from Madison. In 2001, she graduated with the title of Master of Fine Arts at Rutgers University. From 2006 until the year 2015, Anders and her former Joey co-star Matt LeBlanc, who met on set of the sitcom that ended in a rerun, began dating. Her brother is director Sean Anders (Sex Drive, Never Been Thawed). Since 2001 Anders began her career in the theatre. In the Broadway show Proof She was Mary Louise Parker's understudy. Then, in The Graduate, Anders played Elaine Robinson. Also, she appeared as a character in On the Jump on the Arena Stage and New Doors at the Guthrie Theater. She is also a part of the two New York Stage & Film productions: Cold/Tender as well as New World Rhapsody. Anders made her debut on stage in Fat Pig, a Geffen Playhouse show. Fat Pig, which closed its doors on July 1, 2007, saw Anders in the role of Jeannie a accountant. One of Anders' first TV appearances was in an advertisement for Dannon which ran in the 90s, and again around 2006. Anders is most well-known for her work on Joey (as attorney Alex Garrett) and The Class in the role of Nicole Allen (nee Campbell) as the wife of a former football player. Although she was in both shows, both have been cancelled. Anders has also been seen in guest roles on One Life to Live and Law & Order. She has made appearances as a character in The Guiding Light. Anders was featured in five episodes on the HBO the drama Oz in 2003 as Donna Degenhart in 2003, as well as a brief appearance in the film The Stepford Wives, playing the part of Heather, and the film Sex Drive as Brandy. Anders was also a guest in the show Numb3rs in the year 2008. Anders also appeared on two TV pilots which were unsuccessful. They included Spellbound as well as News To Me. Anders most recently was cast for the part of Better Off Ted by Victor Fresco the ABC workplace comedy that is shot on a single cam.
