Katherine Jean Bolduan professionally known as Kate Bolduan is an American journalist for the broadcast industry. Her most well-known role is the anchor for the CNN morning show At This Hour. She was also co-anchored CNN morning shows New Day, and The Situation Room. Bolduan was a part of CNN's coverage of both the 2012 and 2016 presidential elections. Her previous experience includes working as a Washington DC based correspondent, reporting on each of the US House and Senate. In her time as a member of the Capitol Hill Unit Bolduan reported on the legislative cycle and congressional events such as talks to increase the federal debt limit and the super committee deliberations. The work she has done for her general assignments included reporting regarding the Christmas Day Bombing, Obamacare's Supreme Court Decision and implementation of the stimulus program by the government in 2009. In 2007, she was hired by CNN as a correspondent national in 2007 for CNN Newsource. As a CNN Newsource correspondent, she reported on breaking news and produced feature reports for more than 800 CNN Newsource members. Previously, she was an anchor on NBC News MSNBC & WTVD-TV. Now she lives in New York City together with her husband, two kids and two grandchildren.
