KatePrince William and Kate Middleton first came into contact when they were in St. Andrews in 2001. According to legend, Prince William met Kate Middleton at a fashion show that she attended wearing transparent clothing that sparked his fascination. They were engaged. Middleton was a roommate of Prince William in their second year at St. Andrews. Around this point in time, Kate Middleton began to be harassed by media sources.
