Bellamy Young

Young began her professional career as an actor in the theatre. In 1997, she had her Broadway debut in the role of Mary in the The Life cast. The Life. The actress has appeared Off-Broadway in Stephen Sondheim's musical Merrily We Roll Along (1994) along with Randy Newman's Faust (1995-1996). [3][10] She debuted on television in 1995, playing the character Dr. Courtney Evans. Both in 1997 and 1998, she was a guest star on Law & Order, playing two parts. In 1999 she made her film debut with a small character in the crime-drama Black and White and later co-starred in several independent films. Then, in the late 2000s Young started to appear as a guest star on a variety of TV dramas and comedy shows, such as The Drew Carey Show and The X Files. From 2000 to the year 2011, Young was a regular guest on more than 30 appearances on tv shows. Young was among the regular actors on Peacemakers which was a USA Network television series that aired in 2003. After nine episodes, the series concluded after one season. Her character was featured in the Lifetime show For the People, a crime drama. Atty. Agnes Hunt, NBC's Scrubs, as the character Dr. Grace Miller, NBC's Scrubs as Monica West (CSI: Miami 2005-2006), ABC's Dirty Sexy Money, as Ellen Darling (the eldest in-law daughter of the Darlings) and CBS's CSI: Miami, as Monica West (assistant state attorney).
